Meet the New Snowdog Sport 2027

The Snowdog Sport you know is getting a major upgrade. Meet the Snowdog Sport 2027 — the result of 2 years of development, testing, and improvements designed to make our most popular model even more capable and dependable. The new generation brings significant changes to the drivetrain, controls, suspension, braking system, lighting, and frame. Sport 2027 was developed for people who depend on their Snowdog for winter fishing, hunting, transportation, and trail grooming. Sales are scheduled to begin in December 2026.

One of the biggest changes is the new reverse gearbox with an electronic gear-shifting system, making direction changes easier and more convenient. The braking system has been upgraded with a larger brake disc, while the suspension has been redesigned to reduce the risk of the bogeys tipping over. The handlebar is now more rigid and provides additional mounting possibilities for equipment. An upgraded O-ring chain helps reduce stretching, and Teflon inserts in the throttle and brake cables help reduce the risk of freezing. Sport 2027 also comes standard with two headlights, a rear light, metal handguards, heated grips, and an engine cover.

At the heart of Sport 2027 is the new Snowdog 459 cc, 14 hp engine — an engine we are particularly proud of. Development began several years ago in collaboration with Zonsen, followed by extensive testing in extremely harsh Siberian conditions. Compared with the engines used in previous models, the new Snowdog engine provides slightly more power and improved performance in low temperatures. A protective engine cover comes standard to help prevent freezing in severe winter conditions. For a machine designed to work when temperatures drop and snow gets deep, dependable cold-weather performance matters.

Sport 2027 measures 58 × 22.5 × 31 inches and weighs 342 lb, keeping the compact format that makes Snowdog different from much larger winter machines. It features a CVT transmission, electric starter, disc brakes, reverse gear, an 11 A⋅h battery, and 16 W LED lighting from its two headlights. Maximum carrying capacity is 110 lb, while maximum towing capacity is up to 440 lb depending on surface conditions. The fuel tank holds 1.75 gallons, with listed average fuel consumption of 0.8 gal/h. In other words, Sport 2027 keeps the familiar Snowdog concept while introducing substantial upgrades where they matter most.
